Multi-Tabling for Rakeback
Multi-tabling for Rakeback is a great
way to extend your already profitable Rakeback deal. Players have the
potential to earn as $45 in Rakeback for every 100 hands played. Depending
on table size and skill level you compete at, 100 hands can take place
in just an hour or two. But what if you played at multiple tables at
once? Just imagine how fast your rakeback profits would accumulate?
Veteran online poker players usually
multi-table anyway, just to increase their profit potential in relation
to the time spent playing. If you play simultaneous poker games anyway,
multi-tabling for Rakeback is a must.
For those of you who aren't avid multi-tablers,
you should be more cautious about jumping into several games at once.
Try multi-tabling for Rakeback at two poker games. If it goes well,
and by going well, we mean you break even or make a profit at the tables, only then should you try upping the roster to 3 multi-tables. Continue
upping the games by one at a time when you are making a profit from
the previous number of tables. If you're breaking even, you're at a
good level and should stick with it.
You'll notice we said breaking even
was a good thing. When you add in the Rakeback profits you're piling
up, your break even game becomes a prosperous one. If you can make a
profit at the tables as well, the exponential growth becomes unlimited.
In order to make the most of multi-tabling
for Rakeback, you'll want to apply a solid poker strategy to your game.
The strategy you choose has everything to do with your online poker
Rakeback deal. There are four types: Contributed Rakeback, Shared
Rakeback, Dealt Rakeback and Tournament Rakeback. We'll cover the proper
poker strategies for each below.
Multi-Table for Rakeback: Contributed Rakeback
Contributed Rakeback requires a loose,
and sometimes aggressive, poker strategy. Contributed Rakeback is paid
to players who contribute to the pot. The player is paid a portion of
the rake that corresponds directly to the percentage of the pot they
contributed. Therefore, the more you contribute, the more your Rakeback
profits will be.
A loose poker game means you'll want
to see a lot of Flops. With a decent starting hand, you can risk a small
amount of chips to see the flop, and then decide whether you want to
move on based on how well the flop improved your hand. If you have a
monster hand, draw as many chips into the pot as possible. If you have
a marginal hand, you might be able to bluff others away from the pot
with a large bet.
Multi-Tabling for Rakeback: Shared Rakeback
Again, a loose poker game is recommended,
but you'll want to be more passive with a Shared Rakeback deal. Call
to see the Flop, but readily fold without great improvement to your
hand. Only risk the smallest amount necessary to see the Flop. If it's
too expensive, conserve your chips for a better opportunity, unless
you have a premium starting hand to back up the large bet.
Shared Rakeback is paid to players
who contribute to the pot, but the Rakeback amount is based on the average
rake. This means the total rake divided by all participating players.
Dropping a single chip into the pot is worth as much in Shared Rakeback
as contributing 50% of the pot. A loose/passive poker strategy is the
way to go here.
Multi-Tabling for Rakeback: Dealt Rakeback
This is a great opportunity for tight
poker players as Dealt Rakeback is paid to all player who are dealt
cards in a raked hand. There's no need to contribute to the pot, and
doing so won't increase your Rakeback profits. Tight players fold 90%
of the time, moving on only with a premium starting hand. As far as
profitable poker strategies go, a very tight game has always proved
the most successful.
Multi-tabling for Rakeback tends to
work best with a Dealt Rakeback program because the player is folding
most hands, allowing the time to easily keep up with all open tables.
If you have a Dealt Rakeback deal, you can safely open more multi-table
for Rakeback than any other Rakeback program.
Multi-Tabling for Rakeback: Tournament Rakeback
This is not a standalone Rakeback deal, but rather an addition to some Rakeback offers. If you enjoy tournament play, multi-tabling for Tournament Rakeback can be very profitable. Best of all, there is no specific strategy you should use. Simply play your preferred game and try to cash as far into the tournament as possible. Your Tournament Rakeback will be paid as a percentage of all tournament fees.
